off road night expo flyerThe Off Road Nights Expo is definitely an event you don’t want to miss out on! Gut wrenching racing action paired with the best in off road showcases of rock crawling, adventure vehicles, and motocross. Tons of vendors, great food, and this past weekend in Del Mar we also got to shine a spotlight on the San Diego music scene.

The Riot Scene Takeover of the Toyota Escondido Off Road Nights Expo left the crowds in shock as we rattled the walls of the nearby arena, competing with the sounds of clapping valves and roaring exhaust of the racing action. Eight acts topping different local genres kept the crowd moving from noon to close, each playing full sets on the Riot Scene Mainstage.

Special shout out to Grip Clean, Law Tigers, and Method Media for the constant support; we’re always happy to promote your products and services!

Opening the show, Samantha Alyssa and her backup guitarist threw out some great high-energy covers that turned heads and got the crowd fired up! Immediately following, Neurotic Mirage came out in full jumpsuits to play tracks from their latest release Psycho Carnival, taking the stage with the presence of giants. Rock reggae hard hitters Tunnel Vision fired up right between races and really got the party dancing! Mixing it up, the homies in Hazmatt kept the vibe rolling, getting the audience engaged, and even bringing some hip-hop to their set. Local rock up and comers Hollywood Values played their hearts out to an awesome response, we were totally impressed by the comradery and energy they bring to the table! Never without a story, Deathboys; the poster children for punk rock, took the stage to a waiting crowd – already calling out their favorite tracks. Bassist Rattle-Jake must have gotten up a little too quick, right as they started their first song of the day he couldn’t hold his cookies and spewed just enough to notice on the side of the stage and jumped right into his song without missing a beat!

Once the awards were handed out for the racers, showcars, and vendor rockstars, Riot Scene kicked it back up with some after-dark hip hop sets from Koty Rocks, dropping his fresh ORN theme song, and newcomer Tra Polk who kept jamming as the lights got shut off!

Overall we had an amazing day introducing you to Riot Scene and giving you a new reason to rock out!

Huge thank you to Method Media Jeremy Wilson for making everything possible on our killer new signage, Rat Sult for giving us this opportunity, and all of the bands and supporters that made the day such an awesome experience!
